Team building day brings 47 Commando Royal Marines together for development and collaboration.

Event, General, Serving Personnel

Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) proudly funded a team-building day for 47 Commando Royal Marines, marking the conclusion of a demanding six-week overseas training package for Landing Craft specialists from across the UK.

The training provided a valuable opportunity for personnel from diverse roles to develop skills, strengthen working relationships, and share expertise. The team-building day served both as a reward and an important moment of rest and cohesion before the next phase of their training cycle.

This occasion was particularly meaningful as the unit prepares to enter the Force Generation phase back in the UK, continuing through to the end of the year and culminating in a major cold-weather deployment. For some, this will be their first overseas deployment; for others, their last – making the time together even more significant.

RNRMC is committed to enhancing the quality of life for Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel and their families. By funding projects like this, we help ensure that those who serve are supported in both their personal wellbeing and professional development.

We extend our best wishes to 47 Commando as they move into the next phase of their training journey.
