Since 2007, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, in partnership with Greenwich Hospital, has distributed almost £30,000,000 in grants to over 30 front line charities. This money is used directly to support sailors and marines, both serving and veteran, full-time and reservist, as well as their families.

This funding, through the work of front-line charities has helped care for older age veterans, improve the relationships within naval families, assisted those in times of need, helped sailors and marines transitioning into civilian life, as well as improving morale of those serving and deployed.
