International Day of People with Disabilities - Supporting Pete Reed

Beneficiary
3 December 2021

Royal Navy Commander Pete Reed, won three Olympic Golds, five World Championship Golds and three World Championship Silvers across an 18 year rowing career. In September 2019 Pete was taking part in a Royal Navy course when he suffered a sudden spinal stroke.

On the UN International Day of People with Disabilities, the inspiring story of Cdr Pete Reed OBE RN is a powerful demonstration that no matter what or when, the RNRMC is here, along with many others, to help.

We’re proud to work closely with organisations which support wounded, injured and sick Royal Navy personnel and veterans to be by their side throughout whatever the outcome.

Watch the story of triple Olympic gold medallist and RNRMC ambassador Pete and his wife, Jeannie.
