Rachel joined the RNRMC in 2015 as the EA to the CEO. She is a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team and in 2022 she expanded her role to include Head of Business Support. This was a specific area of support that was missing for the charity and Rachel has developed a new team ready to support all departments across the organisation with their business requirements. Rachel’s strengths are being able to remain calm under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines and managing a busy and diverse CEO diary.
Rachel actively supports the CEO, Chairman and Board of Trustees, as well as our President and Honorary Officers, whilst also overseeing the business support for the charity and supporting the COO with the Charity’s governance. Having joined the RNRMC without any military background, Rachel had to learn a whole new language working with the Royal Navy!
During her career, Rachel has experience in working in both the private sector and charitable sector actively building her knowledge in administration and governance.
Rachel is married to Rich and they have a teenage son and a chocolate sausage dog called Bob.
