RNRMC Joins Forces with the Royal Navy at Blackpool Air Show

Event, Families, Fundraising, General

The stunning Blackpool Sands and Tower provided a breathtaking backdrop for two unforgettable days of aerial excellence at this year’s Blackpool Air Show. The event drew thousands to the seafront to witness jaw-dropping displays from some of the world’s finest military and civilian aircraft.

Among the vibrant stalls and buzzing crowds, Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) proudly stood shoulder to shoulder with the Royal Navy, offering an exciting and engaging presence at the event. The collaboration highlighted the close ties between the Service and the charity that supports its people, past and present.

Volunteers at the RNRMC stall had a fantastic time interacting with members of the public, sharing the vital work of the charity and raising awareness of how RNRMC supports the Naval community. As the skies above roared with incredible aerobatics and impressive fly-bys, the team thoroughly enjoyed the electric atmosphere and camaraderie that filled the promenade.

Reflecting on the weekend, Natalie Lewis, RNRMC Engagement Officer for Scotland & North East said:

Its been a fantastic couple of days here in Blackpool. The energy and enthusiasm from the public have been overwhelming, it's been a brilliant opportunity to speak about the charity’s mission while enjoying these incredible displays. Events like this really show the pride people feel for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, it’s a privilege to be a part of it.

RNRMC’s presence at public events like the Blackpool Air Show plays a vital role in spreading the word about its mission: to provide lifelong support to serving personnel, veterans and their families. With every conversation, connection and shared moment, the charity continues to build a stronger, more supported Naval community.
