RNRMC Joins the Celebrations at Armed Forces Day in Plymouth on 'The Hoe'

Event

This year’s Armed Forces Day in Plymouth was a huge success, with thousands turning out on The Hoe to honour and celebrate the men and women of our Armed Forces. Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) was proud to be part of this brilliant event, bringing fun and engagement to visitors with their lively stand and popular Spin the Wheel game, where people of all ages could win a selection of prizes.

The day was packed with entertainment for the whole family. Visitors enjoyed live music, vibrant performances, impressive military displays and a thrilling air show that had everyone looking to the skies. The Royal Navy Field Kitchen was also in attendance, serving delicious food to the crowds and generously donating a portion of their proceeds to RNRMC — helping to fund vital support for sailors, marines and their families.

Having a strong presence in Plymouth is especially important for RNRMC, given the extensive work the charity does across the South West to support serving personnel, veterans and their loved ones. Armed Forces Day provided a brilliant platform to connect with supporters, share the charity’s mission and highlight the difference their backing makes to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines community.

RNRMC would like to thank everyone who stopped by the stand, enjoyed the Spin the Wheel game and supported the charity by grabbing a bite from the Field Kitchen. Events like this are vital in strengthening the bond between the public and our Naval family, and RNRMC looks forward to continuing their work in Plymouth and beyond.
