b'IMPACT REPORT 2021Winner: THE ROYAL NAVY IN IMAGES Lieutenant Commander Shaun Roster Since 1962 a competition known as the Peregrine Trophy has been held annually to recognise the best photographers in the Senior Service.For a number of years the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity has sponsored the Friends and Family category, which is awarded for the image of the year which best captures the heart-warming interaction between servicemen and women and their friends, families and loved ones.In 2021, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity in conjunction with the Royal Navy Photographic Unit, opened up the Friends and Family category to entries from the general public for the first time.
