Moderate - Tough

We are very sorry that circumstances have led to the London Landmarks Half Marathon being unable to take place on 29th March 2020 and want to reassure you that the race organisers are working with the local authorities to secure a new date. Please know we’re doing our best and will be in touch as soon as we can to let you know the outcome. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

The Local Landmarks Challenge is a solo, virtual run, around your local landmarks. Your local landmarks could be anything from your local church, castle, park, statue or even post-box. Take on our event strap-line, 'The Grand. The Quirky. The Hidden', get creative and plot a run around your local landmarks and continue your support of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

The challenge is open to everyone, whether you have a place in LLHM 2020 or not, and distances over 5k qualify for the challenge. You can complete your total distance over a number of runs and multiple days – you do not need to complete it in one go.

This is a solo, virtual challenge. Please do not organise to do this in groups. The Current government advice is that it's safe to go outside to run once a day alone or with a member of your household as long as you keep a safe distance from other people (at least a 2 meter distance).  Please read the Government's guidance which can be found here and adhere to it at all times.

You can take part in the Local Landmarks Challenge from today until 3rd May 2020 and we encourage you to continue to fundraise whilst taking part.
