2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the Falkland Islands.

Will you help us to support those who have served their nation, as well as those who still make sacrifices, day in, day out?

On the 2nd of April 1982, Argentina invaded and occupied the Falkland Islands, initiating a 74-day conflict, during which seven ships and nine aircraft were lost and 255 British personnel lost their lives. 4 decades on, we commemorate those who fought to liberate the Falkland Islands and remember their sacrifices.

National, regional, local and unit focused anniversary events are being held in the UK between early April through to the end of June. The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is supporting veterans of the Falkands conflict by providing small grants to participate in these activities and events to mark the 40th anniversary.
