Purple up day

Purple Up Day, observed on April 15th, holds a special significance for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity as we come together to celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of military children.

As an organisation dedicated to serving Naval, Marine and RFA families, the RNRMC recognises the vital role that military children play in our community. We work with various organisations to provide families and kids with the right support, at the right time. This support can look like access to free resources and events, subsidised activity camps during school holidays or even holiday breaks at a reduced price for the entire family to enjoy.

How you can get involved:

Consider fundraising for us by having a Purple Up day and wearing purple to celebrate children from Armed Forces families. Purple was chosen as it combines the various colours associated with different branches of the military.

Together, let's paint the day purple in honour of military children everywhere, recognising their resilience and celebrating their unique contributions to our armed forces community.
