9 and 15 Mile Routes | Saturday, 18 September 2021

The Bath Marches will take place on Saturday 24th April, 2021. Starting and finishing at Bath Recreation Ground. The event comprises of two challenge walks or “marches” of 9 and 15 miles, including snack stops. While the route follows established footpaths, the terrain presents plenty of challenges and good levels of fitness will be required by all those taking part. Dogs are welcome!

The event is managed by an experienced team of outdoor experts and appeals to all ages. Along the route, the support team encourages all the marchers and share details of the local, natural and military history. The support team will also manage the optional “Team Challenges” for groups.

The event appeals to a number of audiences including:

  • Serving and former service personnel
  • Corporate and charity teams
  • Groups of friends or individuals keen to take on the challenge
  • School teams

Routes

Bath Marches 2021 route

While the route follows established footpaths, the terrain presents plenty of challenges and good levels of fitness will be required by all taking part. The march routes include the summits of Solsbury Hill, Lansdown Ridge and Kelston Round Hill, giving fantastic views into deepest Wiltshire, Somerset and across to South Wales. The route also includes the historic village of Woolley in the Swainswick Valley

  • 9 & 15 mile route – £20
  • 9 & 15 mile route (under 18’s) – £10

 

(plus optional medal at £3.00 each)

Team captains can register a team and invite others to join when registering themselves.

For teams larger than ten, marchers should contact the organisers.
