Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) is very happy to announce it has successfully retained its Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.
This not only reaffirms RNRMC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Naval community but also highlights that it is upholding the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
The ERS Silver Award recognises employers who actively demonstrate their support for defence personnel, including reservists, veterans, service leavers and military families. Retaining the award highlights RNRMC’s continued efforts to ensure that those with a connection to the Armed Forces are treated fairly, valued for their skills, and supported within the workplace.
“Retaining the ERS Silver Award is an important recognition of our ongoing commitment to the Naval community. As a charity which exists to support sailors, marines, veterans and their families, it is vital that we reflect those same values within our own organisation.
“We are proud to be a forces-friendly employer and will continue to ensure that those with a connection to Defence are supported, valued and able to thrive at RNRMC.”
Sam Nicolson MBE, CEO of RNRMC
The charity will continue to build on this achievement, strengthening its internal practices and external partnerships, while supporting the wider Defence community and working towards the highest standards of employer recognition.
