What a weekend! The 2025 Southport Air Show brought together aviation enthusiasts, families, including members of the Armed Forces community for a truly spectacular event.
Set along the stunning Southport seafront, this annual event once again delivered a packed programme of jaw-dropping aerial displays, thrilling aerobatics, and heart-stirring tributes from historic aircraft. Fast jets, classic planes, and precision flying teams put on an unforgettable show for thousands of spectators who turned out to enjoy this summer highlight.
We were incredibly proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Royal Navy at this much-loved event, which not only celebrates aviation excellence but also offers a brilliant opportunity to connect with the public.
Across the weekend, our volunteers engaged with families, aviation fans, and veterans alike – sharing the vital work of the charity. For many, it was a chance to learn more about the people behind the uniform, to hear stories of service, and to discover how RNRMC makes a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.
Natalie Lewis, RNRMC Engagement Officer for Scotland & North East said:
It was brilliant to see so many people of all ages engaging with the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity over the weekend. Events like the Southport Air Show give us a unique chance to share the important work we do supporting our naval community – we’re always touched by the warmth and enthusiasm we receive.
To everyone who stopped by to say hello, asked questions, or shared their stories – thank you. Your support helps us continue our mission to be there for our naval family, for life.
