Congratulations to POAET Beasley for his remarkable achievement resulting in is nomination and award of the Daedalus prize. He was noted as the member of the member of the Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival Equipment School (RNAESS) staff who has made the most significant contribution to the school over the previous term.
Petty Officer Beasley has been recognised for his outstanding work in helping 764 squadron successfully move to a new online learning system.
Lt Jack Prestridge praised his efforts, saying he showed “exceptional dedication and professionalism in leading the transition”, ensuring the change was introduced smoothly and without disruption.
Behind the scenes, PO Beasley worked closely with external partners to resolve issues quickly and keep everything on track. He also created new ways of working within the system that were specifically designed to suit the needs of RNAESS, helping to make sure it will continue to benefit staff and trainees long into the future.
As a trusted digital specialise, he supported colleagues every step of the way. He delivered training and guidance, including a dedicated presentation during Inset day, helping staff feel confident using the new systema and understand how it can support their work.
His contribution has been widely recognised Jack Prestridge added that PO Beasley’s work is “a testament to his outstanding contribution, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to success of RNAESS”.
That is why, in recognition of his efforts, he has been named a highly deserving recipient of this award.
