We’re delighted to share a heart-warming update from University Royal Naval Unit (URNU) Wales, whose Christmas Ball auction included a very special donation.

The wonderful Carney family generously donated a beautiful hamper in honour of Kyran. With their permission, the hamper was passed on to URNU Wales for the event - where it raised an amazing £110 for RNRMC through the auction! 💙⚓

This contribution formed part of the evening’s wider fundraising total, which has now reached just over £900. Even better, some of these donations were able to be made via the Big Give, meaning they were doubled - a fantastic example of how thoughtful gestures and community support can come together to make a real difference.

We are incredibly grateful to the Carneys for their kindness, and to the team at URNU Wales for choosing to champion Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity through their event.
