The historic sail loft at Fleet Operational Standards and Training Organisation (SURFLOT) in Portsmouth came alive this festive season as the LOGS team gathered for their annual Christmas Function. The space, once used for traditional naval craft, was transformed with festive decorations, music and plenty of Christmas spirit.
Serving personnel were able to take a well-earned break from their busy schedules, coming together to enjoy a DJ, party games and an evening that celebrated community, camaraderie and the importance of time spent with colleagues.
It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. Christmas-filled baps and mince pies were provided, along with beverages from the bar. The themed party games and quiz were great fun, with prizes awarded to the winners. We also held a raffle generated from unit and event funds. The atmosphere was completed with music provided by a resident DJ.
