The founder and chairman of one of Britain’s leading IT providers graciously showed his support for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) at a huge anniversary party in celebration of Centerprise International’s 30th anniversary.

Over £6,000 was raised for the RNRMC at the unforgettable bash hosted by Rafi Razzak at Trunkwell Mansion House, near Reading.

Royal Naval connections

Centerprise International has a history of supporting the Royal Navy, having sponsored a field gun team in 2012.

Around 500 guests attended the event – many of which hailed from the local Basingstoke business community. Others guests included current and ex-serving Centerprise employees, as well as members of the Basingstoke Town Football Club, which Rafi has backed for more than 20 years.

“I am overwhelmed – what a night to remember”, Rafi said to his guests. “I consider myself a very lucky man – I have so many friends, close family, customers, partners, and most importantly of all, my Centerprise family.”

Looking to the future, he added: “I very much would have liked to spend lots of time with each one of you and to share with you our celebration, joy and fond memories – to say thank you for 30 glorious years.”

Rafi, whose company’s expertise lies in IT infrastructure design, provision and installation, has since gone on to be named Personality of the Year at the CRN Channel Awards 2013, held at London’s Battersea Park Events Arena in November.
