Mandy Lindley has been appointed as Director of Relationships and Funding at The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC).

In her previous role as Third Sector Partnerships and Commissioning Manager for Portsmouth City Council, Mandy was instrumental in the transition and delivery of 14 different trusts to establish a £2million fund for charitable organisations benefitting Portsmouth city residents. She also successfully reformed and delivered a £5million grant programme across the city.

Mandy will be leading the strategic development of the grants function within the RNRMC, including establishing and refining relationships with other charitable and grant-making organisations, as well as developing a comprehensive understanding of need across all beneficiary communities and recommending prioritised grant streams.

Her role will be key in developing and maintaining close relationships with charities that support the RNRMC’s beneficiaries and the stakeholders responsible for the morale and efficiency of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

Mandy says: “The Charity exists to support sailors, marines and their families, for life. Our mission could not be realised without the work of other charities and I am pleased to be joining the team to develop this aspect of the organisation.”

Robert Robson, CEO of the RNRMC, adds: “I’m pleased to welcome Mandy to our team, bringing her considerable experience in strategic and operational leadership roles, spearheading the growth and development of social enterprises, charities and community organisations.”
