Leave a legacy
An important part of charitable giving comes from the legacies. No matter how big or small your donation is, it will go a long way to supporting the work of the RNRMC for the past and current naval communities and we thank you for your kindness and generosity.
There are three types of Legacy:
• Specific – which is a named item such as a piece of land or property
• Pecuniary – which is where you specify an exact amount of money
• Residuary – the residue or part of the residue of your estate after all other debts and expenses have been paid
Please take advice from your solicitor about adding a clause to your existing will. If you don’t have a Will, then now might be the time to get one in place, incorporating the appropriate clause.
Your legacy should be left to the Royal Navy & Royal Marine’s Charity, which is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales (no. 6047294) and is a registered charity (no. 1117794) and Scotland (SC041898) and your estate will benefit, where appropriate, from a reduction in Inheritance Tax which might be payable.
