Medical Training
"When I started my medical training I thought that the finances would be the most difficult aspect but thanks to you, the Trustees and your very kind representations of my cause to other charities, my life has been made very much easier. I simply cannot emphasise enough the enormous debt of gratitude I owe you all."A former Royal Marines Officer, RNOC Beneficiary

- Donate from your Pay
-
Payroll Giving is an easy and flexible way for you to give to charity. If you earn a salary and wish to donate on a regular basis, your agreed donation is deducted from your gross pay before tax. You benefit because you do not pay any tax on the donations you make and you can change the amount you wish to donate month-to-month or week-to-week depending on how often you get paid.
If you are a basic rate taxpayer, a gift of £5.00 only costs you £4.00. If you are a higher rate taxpayer it will cost you £3.00 to donate £5.00.
If your employer already operates this scheme, you just have to let your payroll department know that you would like to participate. Give them details of how much you want to donate and they sort out the rest. But if your employer does not offer this scheme, why not suggest that they introduce one - it is easy and inexpensive to run.
