A care home for former seafarers in Surrey welcomed HRH The Princess Royal to open its new dedicated dementia facility on 14 July. Royal Navy Officers' Charity: Widow of an Officer
Wherever the need arises the RNOC can assist. An 86 year old lady, the widow of an officer of the RNVR between 1940-46, now lives in desperate straits in Harare having lived in Zimbabwe since 1956. Read More

The Royal Navy Officers' Charity: Health and Welfare
A Weapons Engineer, who served from 1971- 90, left the RN and continued his career as an IT Consultant. Sadly, his marriage broke down and he was required to pay substantial maintenance payments. Read More

Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children’s Fund: Megan's Trike
The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity introduced Megan's family to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund which provided a grant for Megan to purchase a specialised Trike. Megan has impaired vision due to Albinism and Nystagism with Photophobia and could not ride a normal bike as balance is very difficult. Read More
Naval Service Sports Charity: HMS Sultan Climbing Wall
In February the new climbing wall was completed at HMS Sultan, this was made possible by a Sports Grant from the Naval Service Sports Charity which forms part of The Royal Navy & Royal Marines' Charity. Read More

Naval Service Amenities Fund: HMS NEPTUNE
HMS NEPTUNE – the new All Ranks Supermess at NEPTUNE in Faslane included a state of the art Bowling Alley which has received £78,000 to help fund the construction. Read More

Royal Navy Officers' Charity: Lieutenant's Wife
The RNOC help the families of those serving today. The young wife of a Lieutenant has recently been diagnosed with MS, a situation which is causing understandable distress to her and her family. Read More
